Initially I spoke to some of the people that I knew from some of the major high street names – these are people that I have managed to build up a working relationship with over many years. They each came back to me with “their best price” for the type of model that I was looking for. I had kind of expected a similar price to have been quoted by all of them and was some what surprised to find that the prices were some what varied.
Over the last twelve or so months I have however started to purchase many more items off the internet and I therefore decided to see what kind of prices were available online. Guess what? Yes – the prices online were one heck of a lot cheaper – this is the power of the internet in full force. I then bought the mig welding equipment via the internet.
My advice is quite simple; if you are thinking of buying welding equipment always check online first as you could save yourself a whole heap of money.
