Who We Are

The Fund, a pioneer in IT venture capital financing in Egypt and the MENA region has successful helped turn a number of forward-thinking entrepreneurial projects into thriving companies. In late 2008, the Fund announced the closing of its second venture capital fund, TDF II, with $40 million. The first venture capital fund, TDFI with $10 million in capital is fully vested in several promising companies such as: TimeLine, Opencraft, Si-Ware, and Oztez Online.

We are actively looking for Egyptian entrepreneurs around the world who have innovative projects and are in need of financing to take their company to the next level. We focus on high growth business opportunities in the communication and IT sectors.

As to the types of investments, the fund focuses in all stages of the company’s life-cycle: from founding start-ups, fostering growth in developing companies, to complex recapitalizations of more mature businesses.
